Salinas Elderly is a new construction 84 unit affordable housing development for seniors located in Salinas, Puerto Rico. The development consists of one building with two lateral wings. The core building center contains a lobby, with elevator service, activity room, laundry, and kitchen. The site is situated on approximately 1.3 acres and has a parking area with 52 parking spaces with gated entry. Nearby neighbors include two residential sub-divisions and a school.
Total development cost of $11,340,000 includes equity from an investor purchasing low income housing tax credits provided by Puerto Rico Housing Finance Authority and Puerto Rico Department of Housing (“PRDH”) HOME funds. Operating assistance is provided by PRDH.
